Micro Focus Content Manager 9.3 Released

 

The eDRMS system we all know and love (originally TRIM) has been upgraded to version 9.3 and will now be called Micro Focus Content Manager.  This upgrade provides several useful enhancements, as well as a fresh new visual style that reflects the new branding.

These new features, at a glance, include:

• New record update tasks, including Title and Record Number
• Access Control changes, updating multiple records, removing locations, and replacing current lists with a locations list
• Location changes, for changing type, profile data, modifying email addresses and updating default jurisdictions
• Enhanced Office Integration
• Render improvements to the queue, automatic PDF and OCR rendition, and specifying Workgroup Servers for perform rendering
• Improved Document Store Integrity Checks, including validity checks, verifying expected numbers and auto-restoring from backup copy where needed
• Elastisearch improvements
• IDOL and KeyView updated to v12.0
• More than 80 further enhancements requested by users!

There is a lot to look forward to in this release, helping to streamline your time in Content Manager and get the most productive output from your time.
